The Markbass CMD 102P is a tilt-back bass combo amplifier that has a built-in Little Mark II solid state preamp to give you more power. To help shape your sound, the CMD 102P bass amp gives you a 4-band EQ, as well as VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) filters for control.
The Markbass CMD 102P amp's I/O includes an input that can handle both passive and active basses, and extra XLR balanced input for double bass pickups, Neutrik Speakon Combo out jacks for use with 1/4" or Speakon speaker cables, a tuner out jack for sending unbalanced signals to a tuner, amp, or other recording equipment, and Send and Return Effect jacks to ensure your main signal continues even if something dies in your effects chain. This versatile bass combo has an angled cabinet so that you can use it as a floor model or in the more traditional vertical position. Either way, you're going to get a warm, natural sound from the 2 Markbass custom 10" speakers and the piezo tweeter. And if you add an external cab via the outputs, the CMD 102P combo amp will give you enough sound to fill a large venue with headroom to spare.
> NEW COMBO HEAD ERGONOMIC AND PRACTICAL DESIGN
The new LITTLE MARK 58R combo head amp new design features all the connections and controls on the front panel leaving on the rear panel only the speaker outs and AC power socket, offering optimal ergonomics and making everything more practical.
> 4-BAND EQ NEW SETTING, OLD SCHOOL FILTER, 3-WAY SWITCH, MUTE
The 4-band EQ section features very effective controls, allowing you to easily find the sound you want, boosting or cutting 16 db of each of the band to cover all the tonal nuances needed in any genre of music. Additionally the Old School filter cuts out your highs and gives you a round and smooth tone, and the 3-way switch allows to choose between a super-balanced FLAT tone, a
SCOOPED preset that drops the mids while boosting the lows and highs giving a great slap sound or to selects FSW to control MUTE and SCOOPED EQ connecting an optional dual footswitch. MUTE function is also available via handy MUTE switch on the front panel.
> BI-BAND LIMITER
Our new bi-band limiter responds faster and more dynamically to your playing than traditional limiters do, and lets your high end “breathe” more, for a more natural sound. It makes our amp heads the best choice for anyone who enjoys a quick, punchy attack at high volumes.
> WEDGE DESIGN
The angled cabinet design allows the unit to be used either as a floor monitor or in standard position. The angled position is fantastic in applications where your amp is mostly for your personal monitoring, so you can perfectly hear yourself on any stage.
> STACK WITH AN EXTENSION CABINET
If you add an external cabinet to the CMD 102P V combo, you can fill a large venue with headroom to spare. This combo stacks perfectly with any Traveler or Standard series cabinets.
