Warranties

All our instruments come with a warranty. The duration and coverage is depend on the manufacturer and product type. In addition to manufacturer warranties & store warranties, customers are covered under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), all customers are entitled to certain guarantees when they buy goods or services. 

These guarantees ensure that products:

• Are of acceptable quality.

• Match the description, sample, or demonstration model. *Some models of guitars may vary from the advertised photos due to the uniqueness of each guitar with the timbers used, burling patterns etc. 

• Are fit for their intended purpose.

• Come with clear title and no hidden debts or charges.

• Have spare parts and repair facilities available for a reasonable time after purchase.

What to do if something goes wrong with the product under warranty?

If a product you’ve purchased is faulty, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the severity of the issue. If there is an issue with a product you have purchased that is under warranty, reach out to us and we will manage the warranty process for you. We try to make this process as easy as possible and resolve the situation as quickly as possible. 

Returns and Exchanges

You are entitled to a refund or return or exchange or credit if the goods that you have purchased are:

• Faulty

• Differ significantly from the goods advertised

• Do not do what they are reasonably expected to do.

We do not generally offer refunds because you have changed your mind. This will be at the discretion of Music Specialists and will be assessed on a case-by-case scenario. Any associated fees attached to the purchase will be deducted from the refund amount. 

The following items are non-refundable:

• Sheet music, CDs, DVD’s and books cannot be returned to due copyright restrictions. 

• Consumables such as strings, leads, picks etc 

• Recorders, microphones, headphones, reeds, harmonicas and mouthpieces cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. 

Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
